Elizabeth Pongó

Elizabeth
Pongó is certified as a Personal Trainer by the National
Academy of Sports Medicine. She is currently based in New York.
Elizabeth meets with private clients in their own homes.
As a successful runner of the New York
City Marathon, Elizabeth Pongó has experienced the benefits
of consistent physical activity over time on a personal level.
Elizabeth ran in conjunction with the Leukemia Society’s
Team in Training. She raised over $2,627.00 in order to qualify
for the team and to help find the cure for cancer. That's over
$100.00 for every mile!
She received her Bachelors degree from
Middlebury College with a major in psychology and a minor in education.
Elizabeth served as the director of the Swimming and Aquatics
program at the North Shore Hebrew Academy in Great Neck, on the
North Shore of Long Island in 1995. She has been a valuable team
member on swimming, lacrosse, rugby, fencing, and track teams.
She currently enjoys weight lifting, golf, running, and skiing
as leisure sports.
Having studied psychology and education,
in addition to kinetics and physiology, Elizabeth places a strong
emphasis on life-style coordination when training clients and
teaching proper form and technique.
